SUNSET
While visiting Japan and experiencing all of its beauty, I found myself in a moment of absolute presence on top of a mountain, when my eyes made contact with a sunset so beautiful that I realized I had to do everything in my power to capture it. Once I was back in my studio I immediately started sketching and designing Sunset. The challenge of capturing a moment of pure presence, translating a moment into a glass and metal wall sculpture to be displayed forever presented me with an opportunity to create something truly powerful - like a Sunset in a far off land. -Karo Martirosyan
